I changed 2-3 shift solenoid but it’s like it’s in limp mode

My truck lost power it would still drive but could get it over 60-70 km the code came up bad 2-3 shift solenoid so I changed it I took it for a few test drives but it wants to go but it’s like it’s in limp mode tried resetting computer but it’s still not running right there is no noise no leaks but motor feels like it is working hard witch I am sure it is I shift it manually it doesn’t feel like there is much there when I down shift I can feel it a bit I can feel it when I shift into 1

How long has your 1995 GMC C1500 had this problem?
