Use a transmission from a 86 Pontiac Parisienne and put it in a 92 GMC Sierra

1992 is the last year it's even close to possible. 1993 is the first electric valve body. Even with this the convertor clutch wiring will be different. If you can swap the convertor clutch controls from 1 to the other it should work. If you don't know what you are doing, don't try it!
