Torque Converter Clutch
What is your question?
Check engine light is on. It is error P0740 (torque converter clutch). What can I do? I need it to pass emissions test and get it registered.

there is a switch in thev valve body for the tcc system. it needs to be tested and if it is bad it is a simple repair, not too expensive. if it is good, the converter may have to be replaced and that is a major repair that will cost a lot. Roy
