It is burning alot of fuel when in traffic(also smokes you can smell the gas)Also does it when it is raining,when wet it also runs rough.We have already replaced the fuel injector on the cylinder that is flooding(no blown cylinders)replaced all plugs wires coil and coil wire,fuel pressure regulator fuel filter.any ideas.When it was put on a computer it just said it needed plugs.

This type of problem can be from several things, none of which are easy to determine without the special tools needed to diagnose it. Do you have a scan tool and do you know what codes are being stored?
I AM CURRENTLY REBUILDING A '93 1.6 TRACKER ENGINE . iT SOUNDS LIKE THE SAME PROBLEM I HAVE. TURNS OUT IT IS A TIMING PROBLEM --CRANK SHAFT PULLEY BOLT COMES LOOSE CAUSING THE PULLEY KEY STARTS MOVING CAUSING WEAR ON THE KEY AND CRANK SHAFT KEYWAY . TO FIX REPLACE THE LOWER CRANK SHAFT PULLEY AND KEY- REPLACE TIMING BELT AND WATERPUMP SINCE YOU ARE IN THERE ANYWAY. HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE OUT THERE ,SINCE IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM BUT RARELY DIAGNOSED. The way found this out is becuse
