Suddenly lost power, what could it be?

Hello, the concern described is consistent with the engine's processor detecting a concern with throttle, cooling system or automatic transmission failures. I would suggest diagnostic testing even though the problem is not occurring now. There could be stored historical data from the failure that might be of assistance in diagnosing the failure. Other than that, you'd have to duplicate the concern and test when it happens to see what is going on.
