What is your question?
While moving at highway speeds, especially when slowing and accelerating up highway entrance ramps, the car does NOT stall, the engine is running, but the gas pedal suddenly is non-responsive, i.e., I lose acceleration and can't rev the engine in Drive or Neutral. The "AdvanceTrac" warning light begins to blink. I am on dry pavement, driving at normal highway and ramp speeds. It seems to mostly occur when the engine is shifting up to accelerate. After a few seconds (sometimes 5 sec, sometimes up to 30 sec) the engine again responds to the pedal and the "AdvanceTrac" light goes out. The engine seems to be idling a little rough. The car is serviced regularly. Any ideas?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Ease off the gas and wait for the gas pedal to again begin to respond.
How long has your 2010 Ford Transit Connect had this problem?
A few weeks

The occurrence of accelerator pedal failure to respond plus the flashing warning light indicates diagnostic trouble codes have been set in multiple modules. Retrieving these codes will provide clues to better understand what happened and act to test further to resolve the concern. I'm sorry to say that there is no further guessing to be made; testing is required.
