What is your question?
The oil drops to an undercover then to the ground occasionally. Oils noted in gravel below Van occasionally. Dealer says not from recent oil change. Per dealer, leak is in the front of the engine, has been leaking onto engine for a while. Waiting for their repair estimate. They say it will take over 20 hours to get to the leak then the cost of the parts and labor to fix. Dealer says it can still be driven, to check the oil level every 2 weeks, refill oil as needed. This sounds similar to Connect leak? There are no noises that I have recognized.
How long has your 2015 Ford Transit-150 had this problem?
?…Do not know how long. Dealer says has gone on for a while.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Here's the straight story: any oil leak is a bad oil leak. If it makes it to the splash pan and onto the ground, it could contaminate all kinds of hoses, sensors, and wiring on its way down. Hose material and electronics are not friends with oil by any means. That being said, if you're monitoring oil loss, and the dealer can verify it's not contaminating any other components, you may be able to monitor the leak for a bit.
