Generally a rebuilt transmission is installed or the original is rebuilt. Depends on what's needed to fix it. Often you can get a rebuilt unit which is nice for a 1-day turnaround. This particular transaxle is probably not going to get rebuilt. If it's the CVT - it could, but finding a good tech to do this one is tough. If it's the 6 speed AISIN unit, I don't think there are parts to rebuild it available.
