Running AC on freestyle causes it 2 stall not start and accelerate without pedal

What is your question?

It is a 2006 Ford Freestyle whenever we run the AC and we have problems with it stalling and starting again after it has been turned off try to accelerate even if we are not putting on the pedal and you have to hold brake keep it from shooting forward any help would be greatly appreciated before a mechanic spends hours and lots of money trying to figure it out

What makes this problem better or worse?

Not running AC seems to eliminate problem
