What do i do if drive safe mode os on

What is your question?

Yesterday the drive safe mode came on an I was able to unplug my battery cables an sat for an hour then hooked it back up an it worked just fine well today it went back into safe mode an now it wont turn off . What can I do I live in my car an need to get it back on the road.

What makes this problem better or worse?

We noticed if we let car warm up before driving it drove just fine.

How long has your 2005 Ford Freestyle had this problem?

This has happened a few times like 4 months ago but never for this long . It usually would go off if I disconnected battery an sit for an hour then it would start up n go just fine
