Water Pump Installation
What is your question?
Am replacing a leaking water pump. The replacement looks FFF identical BUT it leaks in the same spot as the old one. The installer I'm using is getting another pump but before it's installed I would like to know if the pump gasket can be installed, reversed?

did you verify the pump is the actual leak and not something above or around it dripping on to the pump?? we can be fooled with this. that is why i like to use dye to verify the leak and its location. it is not possible to reverse the gasket. if you done get all the old gasket off, it will cause a leak. thanks for using repairpal Roy
