Why would the car not go over 50 mph when the traction control is activated?

I am having an issue with the car not going over 50 mph when the traction control is activated, when you deactivate it it runs fine. There is no noise nor any vibration runs fine.

What makes this problem better or worse?

Deactivation of traction control.
