What is your question?
I have a 07 ford five hundred. I had to replace breaks rotor and caliber. And in the process of replacing that stuff, I looked up and noticed that the coil spring was busted on that same side. Witch is…… Rear passenger side by the way. And….. Unfortunately it looks like it been busted for awhile now so I didn’t think nothing of it and after I was done I put the tire back on and it was then when I realized the back of the tire is like twisted I guess. Like it’s sitting on a angle. Like the back side of the tire, I would say is sticking out about a half of inch to a inch outside the rear fender…. While the front side is about the same distance but…… inside the fender! Why??? And for the life of me, I can not find any help or even any suggestions on anything that could be causing this to happen or would cause this to happen. I have looked at everything the last 2 days and I only see the busted coil spring. But I just don’t see how it could be that. Any suggestions hopefully?

Hello, it sounds like your coil spring may have fractured during the service performed, or it could be that lifting the vehicle exacerbated the problem and now it will not lower onto the ground properly. You simply cannot continue to operate a vehicle with broken components like this. This failure is as important as brakes or tires. Your coil spring maintains proper geometry of the wheel and ride height. The answer is right in front of you. Have someone safely repair your vehicle.
