One day the AWD malfuction warning came up and the wavy lines lit up on the left side of dash. I think that's for traction control. The conditions; The car's been driven in ice,salt[winter conditions]. The warning did not come up the next day, but came on again the next.

when a abs sensor does not read right or even a low tire can kick the awd off in these vehicles. a shop can use a scan tool to check for body codes to see where the failure has ocurred. Roy
