What is your question?
my fuel pump went out and i replaced it with a motorcraft pump and sender, which only worked for two days. Is there something else that could cause these pumps to go out? Or did i just get a bad part?

dirt and debris are very common for fuel pump failure. even though your car is not too old, you may have picked up something when you were fueling. a word of advice. never get gas when the big truck is re fueling the station as that process stirs up all the dirt and gets it in the lines. Roy
Are you sure that the fuel pump relay is good? Did you powered up the pump from an external power source to see if it's working? Unfortunately there are more and more bad quality parts on the market, and that includes OE parts also. Looks like all manufacturers try to save $$ on parts and they are lowering the quality requirements. Zee
thanks for getting back so soon ill try it with the new one
Have you had a diagnostic test performed? These cars will not run sometimes if the ETB (electronic throttle body) has failed. Any codes? Can't even remember ever replacing a pump in a Five Hundred...
thanks for the advice
Do you have power to the pump?
