Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! If your 2019 Ford F-350 diesel is clicking and not cranking, it typically points to a battery or connection issue, especially since you mentioned the lights turning off after a moment. Start by checking the battery connections to ensure they’re tight and free from corrosion. If the battery is weak or old, it might not hold a charge well enough to start the engine, even if it lights up the accessories. You could also test the battery voltage or try jump-starting it with a known good battery. If it still clicks, the starter itself might be at fault, or there could be an issue with the ignition system or wiring.
