99 F 350 7.3. Starts hard when cold, then blows white smoke for a minute.

What is your question?

After it blows smoke for a minute,it runs great. It also does NOT do this if I have the block heater plugged in. Can anyone tell me what my problem is?

most likely you have a glow plug relay problem or a problem within the glow plug system
