These transmissions are pretty solid. What happened to yours? Ford offers a 3 year / unlimited mileage warranty with their replacement remanufactured units. I don't have an accurate cost source to pull from - I would consult your local Ford dealership for this one. Last --- be advised that this transmission is very repairable. An overhaul may be much cheaper than a replacement.
