What is your question?
When I try to start my truck in the morning the engine takes time to turn over, but when it does the engine sputters for about 30 - 45 seconds. The whole front end shakes until the engine begins to run fine. After the initial start the engine performs fine and starts fine the rest of the day. This started just over the last week, so weather temperature should not be the problem.

There are a host of possibilities with your 6.0L Diesel. How many miles do you have? Have you changed your oil regularly at 5,000 mile intervals? Do you use Ford oil and filters? It could be several things, but I'm thinking worn injectors. As oil degrades, portions of the fuel injectors become worn. Over time and mileage, things degrade so that cold starts become tough, and even when warm, sometimes things don't straighten out with idle and power. You need to do a cylinder contribution test with a diagnostic scan tool to see what cylinders are weaker than others, and start from there. There is nothing inexpensive about injectors, unfortunately. Beyond injectors, you could have a software calibration issue (processors need reprogrammed...very likely needed anyway...), you could have a low pressure oil system issue (also common), you could have coolant contaminating your oil and causing additional issues (EGR cooler, oil cooler...etc...etc...etc...). Good luck!
