My left turn signal turns on my flasher, hazard lights.

Multi-function switch? Which one? Location? Went to the auto parts store, they drew a blank. suggested replacing the steering column control arm (blinker, lights etc.) 90$ in parts... even then they weren't sure. My Chilton book doesn't help either... first time that has happened.
