The ABS light is on, the overdrive light keeps flashing, the speedometer quit. Ford said the ABS control module was not working. After I picked the truck up--they had placed it on diagnostics--it worked coming home. But, they put a quick charge on the weak batteries just prior to pick up.

it is possible for low voltage to cause all your problems a would start by replacing bad batteries first then run diagnostics if you still have problems
Full charge of the battery is around 12.6 volts. I feel like one of them may be low for you, as I would not expect the differentiation between the two batteries when running. They should be load tested for accurate results. If they pass, a charging system test is in order.
Thanks, that helps a lot. What should the reading on the two 12 volt series connected batteries be? Running I get 14.5 on one and 13.5 on the other; when still they both read 12.45.
