Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. When replacing the MAP sensor on your F-250 Super Duty, you don't typically need to remove the intake manifold unless there's significant buildup in the sensor port or surrounding area. If you decide to clean the manifold, you'll need to replace the intake manifold gasket to ensure a proper seal. The MAP sensor is relatively easy to replace, but addressing any clogs or deposits near it could improve performance if there are signs of buildup. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
