Engine cold, indicates engine hi temp, & check traction system, will not crank

drove about 6 blocks to gas station, filled. started vehicle, had alarms (check brake system, engine overheat, check traction system. turned engine off. will not crank, still displays engine overheat, and traction system alarms.
