What causes my electronic throttle control light to come on? It happens on occassions when I am towing my 5th wheel camper. It does not happen all the time. Lets say I'm going camping for the weekend. While towing on Friday, the light comes on. Once it comes on, I am limited to only going the speed at the time the light comes on. Once I get to my destination, let the truck sit until the next day; the light is off. I tow my camper home with no problem and the light does not come on the whole while I am towing. In matter of fact, its been two weeks since the incident and the light has not come on. I'm hoping its only a sensor or a simple repair. Any help will greatly appreciated. Thanks
