What is your question?
We have installed a new transmission new radiator new trans cooler. Replaced everything. We can drive for about 30 miles on the highway when the trans temp will start to climb with in two miles the trans is over heated. We have verified the trans temp not just trusting the gauge. We let it sit for 20 min. and can go another 30 miles before it does it again. Checked to make sure exhaust was not a factor. All the lines are clear no bends or restrictions. If anyone has any Ideas Please help.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Normal driving no load
How long has your 2006 Ford F-250 Super Duty had this problem?
I have been working on this for a week

Hello, If replacing the trans and trans cooler isn't helping, consider the trans cooler lines may be clogged or bent shut. Since they are metal lines, something smacking into one of them could easily cause flow to be disrupted, or a clog could be causing the same. I'm thinking you probably already thought of this, but that is the extent of the system. The other theory is that the torque converter has failed and is producing too much heat. If it was not replaced with the transmission, that could be the issue.
Casey we found the problem. When the Transmission failed there was a piece of metal inside one of the lines that was restricting flow. air and fluid would go thru the line but when we used a cable to shove it thru the line several times we got a small piece of metal out of it. Test drove it several miles after that with no problems. Thank you for your response.
