Pullin in KS blew turbo hose clamp. Replaced clamp but no boost from charger.

Lost turbo boost after turbo hose clamp blew off eventhough replaced clamp and hose as before. Truck had been repaired by Ford for not starting when it got hot but would start after cooling down. Why did I loose the boost but truck would pull with engine and transmission all the way home.
