What happend to my transmission.

What is your question?

I was rolling forward and put it in reverse. When I did this I heard a metallic ping like something sheared. I dont have 2nd gear reverse or overdrive. What broke,how hard is it to fix, and can anybody fix it

Internal transmission damage is likely catastrophic. What you're not thinking of is that any part fracture or damage creates debris that is then pumped throughout the transmission. This causes damage that must be addressed with a full rebuild / replacement.
