Hello, someone professional near you experienced with these vehicles should road test your vehicle to determine if what you're experiencing is normal or is a problem. It could be that the transmission is downshifting as you are coming to a stop and that you are noticing this downshifting. Keep in mind that in reverse gear you're not accelerating very quickly or decelerating from any kind of fast speed, and you are not expecting any shifting of gears. You could also have engine performance issues influencing the downshifting coming to a stop. But really, you need to have the concern validated by a local technician near you who can weigh in.
