Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! That squeal from your Explorer Sport sounds like it’s vying for attention. Given that it started after you had new brakes and rotors installed, I'd bet you’ve got a brake dust shield or a pad clip that’s just a tad out of place, brushing against the rotor when you turn. Since the noise stops when you hit the brakes, it’s a good indication that something's making contact in there when it shouldn't. A quick check and adjustment by your mechanic should silence that squeal and keep you rolling smoothly.
