Slams into reverse at times. Put truck on lift and you can feel and hear a rough noise coming from rear of transmission we're driveshaft connects to transmission

How long has your 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac had this problem?
First, check u-joints for play. It can also be a really bad trans mount but that would do it in the drive as well. The bearing in the rear of the transmission could be bad too but this is going to require some disassembly.
