What is your question?
We have replaced spark plugs and wires, fuel filter, 02 sensors and the mass air flow sensor. It idles rough or sometimes won't idle at all. It will stall if you don't keep gas on. It sputters a lot. After replacing the mass air flow sensor we now have an air intake code showing up. What could cause the truck to lose power on hills? What seems to make the problem better or worse? Runs fine on flat inclines make it worse How long have you had this problem? About 2 months

Hello, This is a common symptom set for fuel pump failure, but which engine do you have? I don't remember if those are 4.6l, 5.0l, or 4.0l.
I'm now getting a manufacture control code p1451 and a cylinder 1 misfire code.
Is that after spraying water around the intake manifold? If so, did you hear or see any changes in the engine running during the test?
I have the 4.0l
Ok, the 4.0l is known to have issues with the intake manifold gasket, upper gasket and lower sealing rings. They fail all the time, and they will cause a stall when the gas pedal is not pressed because there is not enough fuel to run the engine. turn the truck on and spray water around the intake manifold. It will either change how the engine runs, cause it to stall, or do nothing. If it does nothing, check your fuel pressure. If you get a big change, smoke test the engine. You will likely get smoke out of the intake manifold. seals.
Ok I'll try this..thank you
No problem, let me know if you need anything.
