Bypass shift interlock no key

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. This sounds like a more significant concern than can be bypassed by some kind of advice. Consult the owners manual of your E-Series to find out how to bypass the shifter interlock. I'm pretty sure the only way is to have a key that can turn one notch to the ACC position.
