What is your question?
i have a 2003 ford e350 superduty. A/C blows cold in front and rear. Recently on family trip, the rear a/c blew hot air when the van was going up hill or when passing other vehicle and load on the engine is high. Front A/c not affected when going up hill or passing other cars, only rear a/c. I looked up online and saw it may be the vacuum reservoir. When i turn the van off i hear hissing behind the dashboard on passenger side. Would I be correct in just changing the vacuum reservoir first to see if it fixes the problem? others online say that it may be low freeon. should i try checking the free on first or just change the vacuum reservoir. thank you.
What makes this problem better or worse?
slowing down

Hello, it sounds like air flow is being affected perhaps by engine vacuum. I'm not sure it's the reservoir as much as there could be vacuum leak or a fault with a vacuum operated motor this is causing this. Hands-on testing to trace the system off component function is needed. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
