What is your question?
Looks like coolant contaminated the oil. One minute it was fine, next it was kicking then seized completely. How much is a typical engine replacement? The van was only $1600 but I just put over $2K into it in brake and axle work. Trying to decide to keep it or get rid of it.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing its totally seized up. Wont start at all.
How long has your 1999 Ford E-350 Econoline Club Wagon had this problem?
Its been sitting for a few months now.

Hello, something as significant as engine replacement really needs to be shopped around to find out what a reasonable quote would be. There are too many variables here -- should you install a used engine? A remanufactured engine? A genuine Ford remanufactured engine? They all have their different warranties, pros and cons, and associated price differences. The cost of labor will differ from a "high" of dealership rates to a "low" of independent shop rates, but you'll have to also ensure the shop of choice is capable of handling such a repair job. Try some of the shops listed here for a quote. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops/ford-repair-and-service-in-citrus-heights-california
