my check engine light came on I ran a scan with my OBD11 and the following codes came up PO171 Bank 1 too lean and PO174 Bank 2 also lean. How do I fix this problem when it say too lean does this mean my mixture is too rich? Where do I adjust this on the engine I have a 4.9 Ltr 6cylinder.

You likley have a vacuum leak. It does not mean you are running rich, it means you are running lean and the computer can no longer compensate. There are no adjustments for fuel mixture, repair will be required.
Tell me what I have to repair do I have to look for a broken vacuum line or what do I have to do to fix the problemCptTrevor
Listen for a suction noise or a whistle sound and takes a trained ear for this sometimes. Many people use carb clean and spray around the top of the engine and check for idle variations but this is also a fire hazard, if you try this have a water hose at hand.
would I do this in the vicinity of the intake manifold? or the maf sensor
check for a crack in the vacuum chamber on the left fender. we had one after an acident
I would check and get back to you CptTrevor
All vacuum lines were rotten and broken
