issue

just replaced plugs wires cap rotor ect ect now it starts and runs beautifully but when i put it is gear it dies anyone know what the problem might be

idle air control valve may be mal functioning. it is a simple fix but requires setting the base idle to 500 rpm before installing the wire connector. Roy
