What is your question?
Older (1995) but low mileage (72k) Club Wagon van won’t accelerate after engine has been running (driving or idling) for a while. Seems to be electrical/on board issue rather than mechanical because: - it doesn’t always happen, - when engine is shut off and restarted, everything works fine, - we replaced all spark plugs. Other symptoms include: - it seems to happen more frequently when weather is warm, - it seems to happen more when gas gets to 1/4 tank or lower, - it sometimes happens if I have to stop or slow down and then quickly accelerate again, - if quick acceleration is attempted, engine lurches and makes a “knocking” sound. Please help! It is extremely frustrating and makes an otherwise-great vehicle unreliable.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Seems worse when engine has been running a while (idling or driving), when weather is warm, and when gas gets to 1/4 tank or lower
