leak at the bottom of thermostat housing on intake manifold is it safe to drive

i noticed my engine light went on and the car started to overheat is when i discovered this problem, i drive 45 miles one way to work. i dont have money to fix at the moment. how safe is it to continue driving like this? i do keep a full bottle of antifreeze with at all times. leak is at the bottom of thermostat. the heater works fine.
