Air intake

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal since 2010. The check engine light will not be influenced by anything you are describing. When you turn the key, is the engine cranking and not starting? Or is it quiet and the engine is not cranking at all? If it's craking without starting, you have too much or not enough air, too much or not enough fuel and or no spark present. Testing hands on is needed to find out what is happening. If you need more help, find a RepairPal Certified shop near you!
