my dealership says that the noise my brakes seem to be making on my passenger shuttle are actually loose lower ball joints and mean I need ne lower control arms. He is quoting me $1475 - out of warranty! Is this reasonable?

Labor time for the control arm is about 5.0 Hours or $300 i don't know how much parts are. Ball Joint Parts: $33 - $69
Moog makes after market ball joints that work well. Dealer only sells them with control arm. Most shops can install the joints about 4 hrs labor. about 500 to 600 bucks parts and labor. Plus new joints have grease fittings in them.
