Why does my van have white smoke coming from underneath under drivers side

What is your question?

Once or twice a month I have white smoke coming from bottom of engine near wheel . When I stop at stop sign or start up in morning . It enter my cab area so roll down windows . It is on the drivers side ,

What makes this problem better or worse?

I can not find the source of problem , just let it run its course , about 30 sec to 1 min

How long has your 2005 Dodge Sprinter 2500 had this problem?

About 3 yrs . Have taken to Mercedes of course never smokes when there ,they could find no problem
