With cruise set it just disengages. Does not give any messages on dash. It will do this 3 to 4 times in 10 miles. It does it in both CC and ACC. 2024 Ram 3500 Cummins automatic 13000 miles. Under warranty but dealer says nothing wrong.
How long has your 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 had this problem?
More than a month

Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! That is definitely a frustrating issue, especially when the dealership says it can’t find anything. An intermittent cruise control disengagement with no warning messages on a brand new 2024 Ram 3500 Cummins is definitely something that warrants attention. Common triggers for cruise control disengagement on modern vehicles include a brake pedal position sensor that is slightly out of adjustment and sending a false signal, a clutch switch issue, or a wheel speed sensor that is sending an intermittent signal causing the system to disengage as a safety measure. Since this is happening on a vehicle with only 13,000 miles and is still under warranty we'd strongly recommend going back to the dealer and being very specific about the frequency and conditions when it occurs, and ask them to check for any applicable technical service bulletins related to cruise control on this model. If the dealer continues to dismiss the concern you have the right to request a different technician or escalate to Ram's customer service directly.
