Ccv filter. Crankcase ventilation filter. It filters out oil vapors and droplets from the crankcase for emmisons reasons. Should be replaced every 67500 miles. It is located under the valve cover . Failure to replace it will lead to excessive soot build up in the egr system and i have seen it damage egr valves and particulate filters. I would certainly take care of this item to avoid costly repairs in the future.
