Column shifter is sloppy in nuetral and Drive positions is it cable/TRS SWITCH?

What is your question?

I can start in Park. I can start in Nuetral but column shifter has to be jiggled! I can go into Drive but to make the instrument panel indicator light come on I have to push the shifter upward ( toward park position) slightly! Is it the cable or the (TRS) Transmission Range Switch aka the Park Nuetral Safety switch at fault? It is a Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 (48re automatic) 5.9 Diesel With a column shifter! No codes are detected? Scanned with OBDII
