Steering Issues

Hello , no the power steering pump would not cause a tracking condition,, 1. check the front end for any binding parts ( ball joints , tie rods ,, ect ..) also check the u joints that connect the sttering shaft to the rck n pinion, or gear box .. What you are desribing sounds like what they call memory steer ,,, also make sure all the tires on the vehichle are the same size and type , with correct air pressue
