Radio problems - sometimes has power, sometimes doesn't

I also I same problem , just arrived in NH and the radio is dead at certain temps, after letting heat grid warm up before starting. after it runs for while and restart radio comes back on, would hate to replace batteries to solve this, any other idea's out there

I had the same problem. Replaced both batteries and still have the problem.

i just replaced the batteries and they both have 800cca. Can it be something else?
