Engine surges when stopped at light in both drive and reverse.

What is your question?

When I shift into drive or reverse, the engines pops into gear hard and takes off. If I try to brake to a stop, the engine fights me and wants to keep going. May also have issue with shifting into overdrive. This all of a sudden occurred while the truck was having the A/C serviced. Have no idea if somehow related or complete coincidence.
