What is your question?
my heater "squeaked" for a few days. I expected that it was the heater fan, an it stopped squeaking. It still blows (only on high) But no longer heats. What should I check?
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, noise from the fan and temperature are like apples and oranges. Temperature is regulated by a motor and doors and meter hot and cold air flow. Hot air is created by the engine getting to the proper operating temperature, funneling hot coolant into a heater core that gets air blown through it. Your engine needs to be checked to see if it is getting the proper operating temperature. Then, if it is, the temperature controls will need to be looked at. Testing is required in both cases.
