What is your question?
I was told by a mechanic that Dodge 1500s have the same problem all the trucks with the manifolds cracking would this not be considered a defective issue! Should'nt it be covered underneath defective policy? Both sides of my truck the manifolds were cracked where's the passenger side when then the driver side went like a week 2 weeks later .This seems to be issue with all dodge's. I was informed that it does not have to do with any safety features where in fact it leaks exhaust /which is a poison into your vehicle. How can a poison being pumped into your cab where you're sitting with other people not be a safety issue this is something that you can put you to sleep while you're driving and or cause health issues.
What makes this problem better or worse?
The noise is worse when the engine is cold it's subsides a little bit when it warms up
How long has your 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 had this problem?
About a month

Hello, I understand your frustration. However, consider that the vehicle is 12 years old. When does the liability of a manufacturer of any product stop? it's certainly not a product intended to last your "lifetime". "All the trucks" -- have a problem? I would say it's likely that many fail in time, but "all" is a heck of a statement. Still, the fact remains that unless Dodge has offered extended warranty coverage for some reason -- and your vehicle is still under that coverage (sometimes even "extended" coverage ends at 10 years or less!), you'll have to resolve the concern on your own. I'm sorry. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
Basing on price and extent of the life time of truck / with regular care and maintenance, trucks i have had in past normally last a good 15 20 yrs last around 250,000 miles// Not 80 to 100,000. I can see changing a battery every 4 years or belt, Brakes basic wear. But of Dodge1500 trucks extremely high in manifold repairs, "a coincidence" I personally think not, which also seems to be with a lot of other's whom have owned & or purchase same truck w/ same issue'. As far as "My lifetime" never stated i expected that "somewhat rude statement", but do expect to get my money's worth. Hell I had a Ford reg. cab 8cycl.4x4 ran it till 256,0000 frame started to rot out manifolds never cracked ,had a Dakota130.000 manifolds never cracked , two jeep's both over 150,000 3 other car's each one well over 130.000 never problem w/ manifolds, but when you hear about "multiple complaints of same issue" of one type of vehicle??????
