* The AC blows hot air and the AC button does not light up. Cold mornings it blows cold air.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Hot day.

Thank you for reaching out to Car Genius. The light for the AC not turning on can be caused by multiple things. If the pressure sensor does not read enough pressure/refrigerant than it could prevent the AC kicking on. It could also be a fuse issue. If this was mine, I would get a pressure reading to make sure it has proper levels of freon, then I would start inspecting pressure switches for the AC system, even replacing them can be a fairly low cost to experiment. Of course having a certified shop diagnose would tell you for sure what the issue/fix would be. Thank you for reaching out to Car Genius. -Austin
